You will develop and maintain highly scalable, available systems using Python and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write well-tested, efficient, and readable production code with a focus on reusability.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with team goals.
• Implement source control, CI/CD, and documentation best practices.
• Design and build serverless systems, event-driven architectures, and NoSQL/relational database solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to enhance development velocity and quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in Python production code.
• 3+ years of production experience with AWS, including Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) and relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of Git, unit testing, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures using message queues and topics.
• Proficiency in applying design patterns to solve complex engineering problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, CDK, and AI platforms (Bedrock/Vertex AI, LangChain, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Familiarity with C# and media/video engineering.
