Description

Key Responsibilities
-Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and modular or microservice-based applications using Python and/or Java.
-Build and enhance web application capabilities using JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, and supporting server-side technologies.
-Design data access layers and integrations for PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases.
-Write clean, maintainable, testable code using object-oriented design, SOLID principles, defensive validation, and appropriate error handling.
-Create unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews, defect resolution, release readiness, and production support.
-Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines across cloud or Linux environments.
-Use Git, Maven, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Jira to support development, documentation, testing, and delivery tracking.
-Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and communicate technical tradeoffs, delivery risks, dependencies, and progress.

Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
-Professional or project-based software development experience using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
-Experience developing REST APIs and working with Spring Boot or a comparable application framework.
-Familiarity with one relational database and one NoSQL database.
-Familiarity with Git, Linux, software testing, Agile delivery, and the software development life cycle.
-Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver independently while collaborating across teams.
