You will build and maintain complex backend systems and scalable software architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex software solutions and scalable architectures.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code using TDD practices.
• Lead code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and provide constructive feedback.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues to improve system performance and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation for design decisions and project code.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of professional experience with NodeJS.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience practicing Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong backend development skills, including database design, ORMs, and managing transactions/deadlocks.
• Experience with real-time communication using websockets.
• Proficiency with Git and repository hosting services like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of application infrastructure design and frontend integration.
• Ability to write high-quality unit and integration tests.
• Fluency in verbal and written English communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, MongoDB, and SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of Dockerization, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring/scaling.
• Familiarity with software architecture and design patterns.
