Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software applications using functional programming paradigms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software solutions on distributed ledger technologies using DAML.
• Apply functional programming principles to create maintainable and scalable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and meet business needs.
• Perform code reviews, identify bugs, and improve overall code quality.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code coverage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Haskell, DAML, and Scala.
• Deep understanding of functional programming, including higher-order functions, recursion, and function composition.
• Experience writing pure, immutable, and declarative code.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including ES6+ and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Scala collections, pattern matching, and the Akka framework.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, specifically Azure.
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with blockchain-based distributed ledgers like Fabric or Ethereum.
