Description

Own systems development for Send Plan initiatives, designing technical solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to established standards. Evaluate emerging technologies and frameworks, leading Proof of Concept (PoC) efforts to support vendor and methodology selection. Contribute to the maintenance of technical artifact templates and ensure process compliance within a matrix-based, geographically distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions for digital payment systems, including P2P and disbursements.
• Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies to support strategic decision-making.
• Participate in Proof of Concept (PoC) activities to validate vendor solutions and frameworks.
• Maintain adherence to client standards, processes, and technical artifact templates.
• Collaborate with diverse, distributed teams to deliver high-quality software under pressure.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of advanced work experience as a Software Engineer or Technology Lead.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful Web Services using JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Angular for frontend development.
• Proficiency with build tools (Maven), logging (Log4j), and web servers (Apache).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or foreign equivalent.
• Proven ability to function independently and communicate effectively in a remote matrix environment.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated experience with digital payment systems, specifically P2P payments and disbursements.
