Description

You will own Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and end-to-end application development, from architectural design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build architectural diagrams, design documents, and workflow changes.
• Write, configure, package, and deploy software following established coding standards.
• Debug, unit test code, and perform peer code reviews.
• Mentor junior team members and review software requirements.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of proven experience in Guidewire Application Development.
• Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration and Gosu language.
• Guidewire Cloud Certification is required.
• 7+ years of experience coding RESTful APIs and working with REST/JSON.
• Experience with Guidewire Batch and predefined plugins.
• Ability to read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
• Proficiency in Agile development using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Domain knowledge in Property Casualty Insurance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration.
• Coding experience in Java and Python.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and relational databases.
