Description

You will develop, maintain, and enhance secure Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) software systems based on documented requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance complex software systems following established design methodologies.
• Review and test software components to ensure adherence to design requirements.
• Resolve software problem reports and correct defects in existing code.
• Analyze system-level requirements to synthesize individual software component specifications.
• Evaluate hardware/software tradeoffs and software reuse opportunities, including COTS/GOTS integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency in Java, C, C++, C#, or Python.
• Experience debugging existing software and correcting defects.
• Experience with the SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work within a Cyber Software Engineering context.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Multi-Level Security (MLS) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) applications.
• Experience implementing NSA Raise the Bar (RTB) standards.
• Knowledge of Linux software development, SELinux policies, and XML processing.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, SonarQube, or Fortify.
• Current DoD 8570 Certification (IAT Level II or higher) or ability to obtain one within 6 months.
