Description

You will evolve a large-scale SaaS platform, transitioning it from a monolithic architecture to a distributed, cloud-native system on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services primarily in PHP, with contributions to Python services.
• Collaborate with product managers and React frontend engineers to build user-facing features.
• Own the full quality pipeline, ensuring clean, tested, and observable code from unit tests through E2E.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing across engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Working knowledge of AWS, specifically Lambda and API Gateway.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and confidence in production deployments.
• Familiarity with automated testing and writing reliable, testable code.
• Strong communication skills in English.
