Description

You will build and maintain large-scale software systems to bridge the gap between research and production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute codebase migrations, refactoring, and code quality enhancements.
• Increase test coverage using unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Optimize backend workflow orchestration and implement code optimization techniques.
• Manage engineering operations including dashboard setup, alerting, and on-call workloads.
• Work with scalable distributed training algorithms and efficient data loading for deep learning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Python, specifically managing large codebases in big tech or mid-to-large scale companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in continuous integration and testing frameworks.
• Experience with GitHub and managing public projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical roadblocks independently.
• Proven ability to collaborate across research and maturation teams.
• Knowledge of backend Machine Learning systems.
• Familiarity with GPU coding and PyTorch.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree or PhD in software engineering or a related field.
• Experience training deep learning models or building ML evaluation systems and pipelines.
• Background in FAANG companies.
