Description

You will own the automated testing strategy for embedded systems and scalable platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain automated testing frameworks for embedded software systems.
• Collaborate with developers to craft, maintain, and run automated functional and integration tests.
• Convert business requirements into detailed test plans to ensure complete coverage.
• Develop end-to-end and user acceptance tests for scalable platforms within Agile sprints.
• Work with DevOps to implement test automation within CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
• At least 2 years of experience using Java or Python for automation.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks and implementing CI/CD.
• Strong familiarity with Linux or Unix environments.
• Proven experience testing backend components and APIs.
• Solid understanding of Agile processes, backlog management, and sprint planning.
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira or qTest.
• Ability to perform manual testing when necessary to drive automation efforts.

Preferred Skills

• Background in testing or delivering connected vehicle technologies.
• Experience using Apache Spark and Python in a testing context.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar browser automation tools.
