Description

You will develop platform software for data networking products, focusing on board bring-up and high-speed interface drivers (10G, 40G, 100G, 400G). You will build platform infrastructure components including chassis, line cards, fabric, and optics support within JunOS or Junos Evolution architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain platform software for interface drivers and infrastructure components.
• Execute board bring-up and system initialization for networking hardware.
• Collaborate with system and solution test teams to ensure product quality.
• Provide engineering support for critical customer escalations alongside the Technical Assistance Team.
• Analyze and resolve complex system issues using deep hardware and software debugging skills.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of proven experience in software development for networking products.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming with OO analysis and design.
• In-depth knowledge of data networking protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, and Routing.
• Experience with device drivers, system bring-up, and FreeBSD/Linux internals.
• Understanding of Ethernet, OTN, and SONET technologies.
• Knowledge of firmware and hardware interfaces: Optics, PCIe, SPI, I2C, Retimers, FPGA, CPLD, MDIO, Flash Drivers.
• BTech or MTech in CS/CE or related field.
