Description

You will develop platform software for networking hardware components, including board bring-up, high-speed interface drivers, and chassis infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop platform software for 10G/40G/100G/400G interface drivers and platform infrastructure for chassis, line cards, fabric, and optics.
• Build product features using JunOS or Junos Evolved software architecture frameworks.
• Collaborate with system and solution test teams to ensure product quality.
• Provide engineering support to the Juniper Technical Assistance Team for critical customer escalations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven software development experience, preferably with a networking products background.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols.
• Familiarity with Device Drivers, FreeBSD, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Firmware, Hardware, and FPGA.
• Experience with JunOS or Junos Evolved software architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of OTN or SONET technologies.
• Experience with PCIe, SPI, I2C, or MDIO.
