Description

You will own the maintenance and modernization of legacy systems using COBOL/400 and DB2/400. Your work ensures high performance, data integrity, and minimal downtime for critical business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications using COBOL/400 to ensure system reliability.
• Utilize CLLE to enhance existing systems and build new functionalities.
• Manage database operations with DB2/400, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Write and execute CLP scripts to automate processes and streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in COBOL/400 programming.
• Hands-on experience with CLLE (Control Language for Legacy Environments).
• Strong knowledge of DB2/400 database management.
• Ability to write and debug CLP (Control Language Program) scripts.
• Experience with legacy modernization projects.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
