Description

You will design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available microservices-based platforms deployed on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain globally performant microservices and containerized applications.
• Resolve production issues identified via monitoring, data checks, or support tickets as part of DevOps on-call rotations.
• Develop, test, and deploy code through CI/CD pipelines while contributing to technical documentation and code reviews.
• Collaborate in an agile environment through stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospectives.
• Drive engineering initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve the technical foundation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically building large-scale, enterprise-grade, distributed applications.
• Expertise in Python and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Git.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools.
• Deep understanding of Web Services and RESTful API development and consumption.
• Solid foundation in data structures, software design patterns, microservices, and containers.
• Experience working within agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards.
• Experience with API integration involving SaaS and on-prem services like ServiceNow.

Education: Any Graduate degree.
