Description

You will build and maintain scalable, high-availability backend applications using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for low-latency applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and data storage solutions.
• Implement security, data protection, and performance tuning measures.
• Develop and implement SOAP-based and RESTful web services.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate end-user requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Python and web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory management.
• Experience with multithreaded programming and designing for scalability.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JS libraries like AngularJS.
• Experience with server-side templating languages like Jinja 2 or Mako.
• Proficiency with version control tools including Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, or ElasticSearch.
• Exposure to scientific libraries including NumPy, Pandas, and TensorFlow.
• Knowledge of Microservices, Big Data technologies, and UNIX/LINUX environments.
