Description

You will design and implement core backend software components and manage the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend components using PHP, Hack, and potentially C/C++ or Java.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure system stability and efficiency.
• Analyze and improve scalability and stability of system resources.
• Interface with other teams to incorporate technical innovations and maintain end-to-end ownership.
• Review database modifications and implement security measures to safeguard information.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Hack, PHP, C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or VisualBasic.
• Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement system changes.
• Experience directing database development and approving project scopes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring staff and providing constructive performance feedback.
