Description

You will build and maintain software for hardware integration and automation projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain data collection software.
• Build hardware abstractions and scale solutions across various hardware types.
• Write software that interfaces directly with hardware components.
• Design and commission automation procedures for experiments.
• Design and execute experiments to validate product quality and investigate HW/SW issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Experience working with hardware components and interfacing with firmware.
• Proficiency in debugging C++ and Python, including error analysis.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders.
• Strong testing and debugging capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with real-time data pipelines, such as high-resolution image transfer from cameras.
• Experience interfacing with hardware like a Raspberry Pi.
• Robot control or mechatronics experience, specifically controlling linear motion stages or robot arms.
