Description

You will design and deliver software solutions for observability and real-time distributed data API systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and support development of APIs for log collection, analysis, operational metrics, distributed tracing, and secrets management.
• Contribute to container build standards, automation, and continuous delivery architecture.
• Manage configuration repositories and develop PUBSUB systems.
• Document technical processes and solutions.
• Collaborate within Agile scrum teams to meet project deadlines and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java or Go.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of network observability and telemetry, specifically SNMP, gNMI, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, Telemetry, and REST APIs.
• Ability to work on-site in Redwood City 1-2 days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience or strong knowledge of Observability and Telemetry systems.
