Description

Senior hands-on engineer owning backend design, development, and architecture while mentoring junior team members.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using Java.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs.
• Architect and deploy serverless solutions on AWS, including Lambda and ECS.
• Implement event-driven systems using SNS and SQS.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate on technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Deep experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized workloads.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GenAI/LLM integrations or AWS Bedrock.
• Background in document processing or data pipelines.
