Develop and maintain complex, secure software systems and database solutions using cloud-native technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug software applications and utilities, ensuring adherence to strict security standards.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS (Fargate, EKS) compliant with DoD SRG standards.
• Lead database development efforts, including schema design, security protocols, and performance tuning for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevSecOps practices, integrating tools like SonarQube.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, define project scope, and deliver scalable systems.

Required Skills

• 8-10+ years of experience in software development and database management.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript (React, Node.js), and RESTful API development.
• Extensive experience with AWS ecosystem, including AWS GovCloud, Fargate, EKS, Docker, and NGINX.
• Strong working knowledge of relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with XML payloads, XSD schema design, and agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Eligibility for and possession of a U.S. Government security clearance (DoD Secret or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Swagger and comprehensive operational documentation.
