Description

You will design and develop applications using Ruby on Rails, owning the full development lifecycle from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software architecture following modern development concepts.
• Build and consume RESTful web services using micro-service patterns.
• Own development tasks and activities from conception to implementation.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to solve technical challenges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience specifically with Ruby on Rails.
• Deep understanding of Web APIs and micro-service patterns.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful web services.
• 3+ years of experience working in Linux environments.
• Proficiency with MySQL or other relational database management systems.
• Experience with NoSQL database development and information access.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure, systems engineering, and cloud scaling.
• Cloud deployment experience using GCP, AWS, Azure, or Docker.
• Full-stack development experience.
