Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software applications and databases to support business functions. You will translate technical designs and UML diagrams into working software using Object Oriented Design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software based on functional requirements gathered from Business Systems Analysts.
• Maintain existing applications by enhancing code and troubleshooting technical or product issues.
• Participate in code reviews, software project meetings, and the development of engineering processes.
• Collaborate with team members and technical leads to ensure component designs integrate with the overall solution.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JAVA.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience building UIs with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Prior PBM or healthcare industry experience.
