Description

Design and implement software solutions for the HR Engineering team, focusing on efficient code, reusable components, and internal system integrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable software using Java and Angular TypeScript.
• Build reusable components and manage API integrations with internal systems.
• Design data storage solutions using Spanner and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Manage assigned tasks independently, defining timelines and communicating risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure code quality through documentation and adherence to engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Angular TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Spanner database.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience working within the Google development environment.
• Familiarity with Google internal frameworks such as Borg.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work onsite in the San Jose, CA office.
