Description

You will own operating system development, bug resolution, and Kubernetes lifecycle automation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and diagnose operating system and configuration bugs to implement effective fixes.
• Troubleshoot OS-related issues using diagnostic tools and develop temporary workarounds to minimize disruption.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and execute functional, performance, regression, security, and compatibility testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand bug context and dependencies.
• Document test results and defects within designated client-provided test environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems, specifically focusing on driver development.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes operations, API servers, and lifecycle automation.
• Proficiency in Go, C, or C++.
• Proficiency with Git for source control.
• Familiarity with Ansible or Puppet deployment systems.
• Ability to perform testing in client-provided environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes plugin development.
• Prior experience with Edge Computing products.
