Description

You will build and maintain solutions focused on Google Vault automation and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and automate solutions leveraging Google Vault APIs for archival, search, and data export workflows.
• Build integration services connecting Vault with internal compliance, auditing, and security platforms.
• Implement scalable Vault data workflows (exports, holds, audits) across Gmail, Drive, and Chat data sources.
• Develop monitoring scripts and tools to ensure Vault policy configurations align with data retention and legal hold requirements.
• Troubleshoot Vault-related issues, API failures, and data inconsistencies in production environments.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software engineering experience using Python, Go, or Java.
• 2+ years of direct experience with Google Vault administration or automation.
• Strong understanding of Google Workspace Admin SDKs and APIs.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Working knowledge of OAuth2 Authentication, Google Cloud IAM, and service accounts.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Knowledge of scripting for audit automation and log analysis.
