Description

Own the quality assurance lifecycle for gaming and animation web applications, ensuring stability through automation and rigorous testing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Write and execute test specifications, analyzing project requirements to define coverage areas.
• Diagnose defects and manage the bug lifecycle from detection through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to integrate testing early.
• Maintain and update test assets for Flash/Animate and other animation authoring tools.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: HTML, JavaScript, Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for web technologies.
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and methodologies.
• Ability to interpret product specifications and translate them into test cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working with remote teams and Agile workflows.

Preferred Skills

• ACE certification or prior experience in the Gaming/Animation industry.
• Hands-on experience with ActionScript and Flash/Animate authoring tools.
