Description

You will architect and build large-scale, cloud-native data platforms and analytics services processing billions of real-time data points.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement distributed systems and microservices for high-throughput data processing.
• Design real-time stream processing pipelines ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Own the resolution of complex code defects and enforce software development best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering experience focused on data platforms or data engineering.
• Deep expertise in Java for building large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, Flink, and Hive.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems principles including consistency, fault-tolerance, and consensus algorithms.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Proven ability to design and develop microservices and API-driven systems.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• Ability to apply AI and data-driven insights to engineering problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scala.
• Advanced technical communication and mentoring abilities.
