Description

You will own the development of production-grade AI agents and agentic workflows in Python, integrating with industrial devices and digital twin systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry or equivalent enterprise platforms, ensuring reliable execution and tool use.
• Design precise, unambiguous specifications for AI-assisted development, verifying outputs against clear acceptance criteria.
• Implement agent integrations communicating with physical devices via Modbus, BACnet, and OPC-UA protocols.
• Maintain consistency in digital twin representations and asset registry systems over time.
• Structure Python services for extensibility, long-term maintainability, and human-in-the-loop approval workflows in critical contexts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Deep expertise in software design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic workflows in production.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry or comparable enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial protocols: Modbus, BACnet, and OPC-UA.
• Experience with digital twin concepts or asset registry systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional OT protocols such as MQTT/Sparkplug-B or DNP3.
• Background in data center infrastructure, facilities management, or DCIM platforms.
• Familiarity with automated device discovery and configuration extraction.
