Software Engineer (Scala, Java, PySpark)

You will lead the development of enterprise solutions for global e-commerce, focusing on application architecture, scalability, and high availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects and high-level system designs.
• Drive technical vision and influence the product roadmap through planning and deployment.
• Direct root cause analysis for critical business and production issues.
• Supervise cross-functional engineering groups, including offshore associates.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in e-commerce software development.
• 7+ years of experience architecting highly scalable and performing web applications.
• 4+ years of experience developing high-transaction, high-throughput systems.
• Proficiency in Java, preferably with Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with Scala and PySpark.
• Experience using Airflow.
• 5+ years of experience with open-source technologies.
• 2+ years of experience integrating third-party solutions into existing architectures.
• 2+ years of experience working in agile models within distributed geographical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
