You will build and maintain backend services with a focus on reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests using existing infrastructure and tooling.
• Improve monitoring, observability, and alerting for backend services.
• Implement security-first practices to protect customer data.
• Deliver work incrementally to facilitate feedback and iterative solution design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building highly-reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of engineering best practices and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively within a fully-distributed team.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
