Description

You will build and run large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems to ensure reliability and uptime.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain massively distributed systems that guarantee service reliability and high availability.
• Monitor system capacity and performance to optimize service delivery and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Automate infrastructure tasks to reduce manual toil and improve improvement rates.
• Solve complex scalability and storage challenges using strong coding and algorithm skills.
• Collaborate with diverse teams in a blame-free environment to design and implement solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering and systems engineering.
• Strong proficiency in coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and system design.
• Knowledge of site reliability engineering principles and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Background in fault-tolerant system design and scalability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google's technology stack including Google Ads, Chrome, Android, or YouTube.
• Proven track record in performance monitoring and complex problem solving.
