Description

You will design, develop, and manage software systems and processing platforms, owning the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test-automation suites and software system validation methods.
• Build processing platforms using configuration management technologies.
• Monitor system performance and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Develop and execute project plans while coordinating system installations or modifications.
• Direct software programming initiatives and oversee technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Oozie, MapReduce, Spark, Sqoop, Kafka, and Flume.
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience building and deploying infrastructure using DevOps tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Ability to apply mathematics and statistics to problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
