Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications aligned with business needs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture discussions and provide expert guidance on full-stack Java technologies.
• Identify bottlenecks in code, databases, or configurations and propose effective performance improvements.
• Automate tasks and optimize application performance using monitoring tools and debugging techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
• Develop and maintain Java EE/Jakarta EE applications using modern frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java and full-stack development.
• Proven track record as a technical architect or senior technical lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with REST Webservices and API design.
• Database expertise with Postgres and Oracle.
• Infrastructure automation experience with Ansible.
• Knowledge of Cloud concepts, Kubernetes (K8S), Helm charts, and Microservices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with OpenLiberty and DevOps practices.
• Experience with performance testing methodologies.
