Description

Design and maintain high-performance Java applications, lead technical architecture discussions, and optimize system performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications aligned with business requirements.
• Lead technical architecture discussions and provide expert guidance on full-stack Java technologies.
• Identify bottlenecks in code, databases, or configurations and implement effective performance improvements.
• Automate tasks and optimize application performance using monitoring tools and debugging techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable software solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java and Java EE/Jakarta EE applications.
• Proven track record as a technical architect or senior technical lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Experience with REST Webservices, Postgres, and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm charts, OpenLiberty, and Microservices.
• Understanding of Cloud concepts and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Deep knowledge of performance testing methodologies.
