Description

You will lead the transition of legacy banking platforms to microservices and micro-frontend architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Decompose monolithic systems into function-centric microservices.
• Refactor multi-channel client architectures using containerization and cloud technologies.
• Define governance and development guiding principles for microservices teams.
• Collaborate with agile scrum teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Maintain database standards and provide effort estimates during planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience building web APIs using GraphQL and REST.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and server-side pre-processors like LESS or SASS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps tools, and OWASP security standards.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in Financial Services, Banking, or Insurance.
• Experience with JavaScript build tooling such as Babel and Webpack.
