Description

You will own the architecture and development of medical device software using C++ and Qt on Linux. You translate complex requirements into robust system designs and manage the full product lifecycle in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance software architectures for medical devices.
• Develop core features using C++ and Qt within a Linux operating system.
• Implement computational geometry algorithms and OpenGL 2D/3D texture mapping techniques.
• Leverage CUDA or OpenGL Shader Language for GPU-accelerated stream programming.
• Produce precise documentation to meet strict regulatory compliance standards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience, with equivalent Ph.D. research experience in Computer Science accepted.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, C++, and Qt programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and software development life-cycle.
• Experience with Nvidia GPU programming, CUDA, or OpenGL Computer Shader Language.
• Solid knowledge of computational geometry algorithms.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into effective architectures and designs.
• Excellent documentation skills for highly regulated development environments.

Preferred Skills

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience in medical device development.
