Description

You will develop and maintain control system software for Microsoft Windows environments, integrating front-end and back-end components with complex electro/mechanical systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable functionality to control complex equipment.
• Refine customer and in-house specifications into functional software designs.
• Develop new releases of control system software based on design requirements.
• Troubleshoot and correct defects in existing large code bases.
• Perform hands-on implementation and debugging on hardware and in simulation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree plus 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented methodologies.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, C++, WinForms, and WPF.
• Experience with COM and SQL.
• Expertise using Visual Studio.
• Outstanding programming and debugging skills in large code bases.
• Experience interfacing external devices over serial, Modbus, or TCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
