Description

You will design and develop high-performance GUI applications for medical devices using C++, Qt, and OpenGL on Linux.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into effective software architectures and detailed designs.
• Implement object-oriented C++ code with a focus on performance and maintainability.
• Develop graphical interfaces using Qt and OpenGL, including 2D/3D texture mapping.
• Manage software development through the full product lifecycle.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for regulated development environments.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (M.S. preferred).
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level C++ programming on Linux with strong Object-Oriented Design skills.
• Proficiency with Qt framework and OpenGL.
• Experience with Nvidia GPU programming, including Compute Shader Language or CUDA.
• Strong understanding of computational geometry algorithms.
• Experience in medical device development and highly regulated environments.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4+ years of Ph.D. research experience in Computer Science.
