Description

You will develop and maintain Set-Top Box software components on embedded Linux using C/C++.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and troubleshoot multimedia workflows using GStreamer for audio and video playback.
• Implement and validate DVB features including DVB-C/S/T, EPG, and SI/PSI table handling.
• Debug issues end-to-end using GDB and Linux utilities, analyzing logs and runtime behavior.
• Work with streaming and networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, RTSP, and multicast.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of relevant embedded software development experience.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with Embedded Linux development.
• Proficiency with GStreamer multimedia frameworks and pipelines.
• Proven experience in STB (Set-Top Box) development.
• Ability to use GDB and standard Linux utilities for debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RDKB (Reference Design Kit for Broadband).
• Exposure to OTT streaming platforms and audio/video streaming enhancements.
