Description

Develop and maintain enterprise N-tier web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical problems to propose and implement high-standard solutions.
• Write high-quality code and implement automated tests to ensure stability.
• Develop automation to minimize engineering toil.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews, demos, and feedback loops.
• Improve team rituals and share technical learnings with the engineering group.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in enterprise software systems development.
• Core Java proficiency and experience building N-tier web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, and Maven.
• Experience with relational database systems, including JDBC, ORM, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of system integration via messaging, web services, and SOA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Exposure to ReactJS for web UI development.
• Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English and Japanese.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
