Description

Develop and maintain backend logic, data interfaces, and legacy system integrations using Java and Oracle technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize PL/SQL code using cursors and exception handling for data retrieval and management.
• Tune PL/SQL performance using Explain Plan and SQL Tracer files.
• Design and implement interfaces between legacy systems and APO via Oracle Database staging for master and transaction data exchange.
• Develop Java applications and manage data transfer through Java Messaging and APIs.
• Execute unit testing, prepare system test scenarios, and write test cases to ensure module quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, including cursor management and exception handling.
• Experience with Java and J2EE frameworks.
• Hands-on work with Oracle 11g and SQL Developer.
• Ability to use Eclipse for Java application development.
• Knowledge of API data transfer mechanisms and Java Messaging.
• Understanding of UML and the SDLC.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
