Description

You will design and implement scalable backend solutions for web applications, owning the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend architectures for web applications.
• Architect inter-service communication and data flows to ensure efficient system performance.
• Develop reusable backend libraries, frameworks, and tools to streamline development.
• Conduct research and drive proofs of concept for new technology adoption.
• Maintain high coding standards through peer reviews and software engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience with a focus on web applications.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with ReactJS for backend utilization.
• Strong command of relational databases including PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Advanced schema design skills.
• Experience deploying containerized services on AWS or Google Cloud.
• Practical application of CI/CD, version control, testing, and migration.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing observability tools like Prometheus.
• Expertise in performance testing to optimize system functionality.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
