Description

You will design, develop, and maintain L2/L3/L4 forwarding functionalities under SONiC OS for high-performance networking solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize Access Control Lists (ACL) and Quality of Service (QoS) features within the SONiC framework.
• Work on routing protocols, especially BGP, within the SONiC framework to ensure efficient network routing.
• Integrate and extend Switch Abstraction Interface (SAI) components for enhanced network functionality.
• Debug and resolve issues across the SONiC stack, from kernel to user space, ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance networking solutions and achieve project objectives.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience with strong understanding of SONiC architecture and modular design.
• Hands-on experience with SAI and SONiC OS internals.
• Proficiency in L2/L3/L4 networking protocols and forwarding mechanisms.
• Deep knowledge of ACL, QoS, and BGP.
• Experience with Linux Kernel and SONiC-CLI.
• Proficiency with Redis and Docker.
• B.E or B.Tech from a reputed institution in CS/EE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes containerized environments and Cloud Architectures.
• Fluency in DevOps, Distributed Computing, and Microservices.
