You will lead large-scale legacy modernization initiatives, transitioning monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy and vision for decomposing monoliths into modern, microservices-based systems.
• Lead service decomposition by mapping features, database dependencies, and establishing interface contracts.
• Manage cutover planning, shadow traffic strategies, and validation workflows for phased migrations.
• Mentor senior engineering talent and provide technical governance across multiple modernization projects.
• Establish organizational standards for SDLC processes, logging, error handling, and security.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on legacy system modernization.
• Expertise in .NET and Azure-based architectures.
• Deep understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and domain-driven design.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL to trace and interpret complex data logic across enterprise systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and service-oriented architectures.
• Ability to analyze legacy behaviors, stored procedures, and front-end workflows at scale.
