Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale J2EE applications and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale J2EE applications and cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with Product Management on algorithms, product features, enhancements, and revisions.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflows, logical processes, and system interfaces.
• Write server-side Java code and design databases.
• Review peer code and provide feedback to team leads, architects, and developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in J2EE frameworks, JDK 1.7+, and the Spring framework.
• Experience with Hibernate, JPA, REST, and SOAP.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and jQueryUI.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, DB2, or MySQL databases.
• Ability to design data models for reporting and retrieval.
• Proficiency in SQL queries, functions, and procedures.
• Experience with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of J2EE application servers including WebLogic, Websphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building prototypes and ensuring adherence to ISO/CMMI quality standards.
