Description

Software Engineer based in Washington D.C. You will develop web applications and scalable enterprise solutions within a hybrid onsite environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy web applications using React and Python.
• Write clean, documented code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Build and maintain integrated automated development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Analyze user requirements to design efficient user experiences and solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers through scrum processes to meet quality standards.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of experience developing web applications.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and Python 3.
• Experience with Linux and Apache configuration.
• Knowledge of Bash, Git, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and LDAP.
• Understanding of web application security best practices and automated testing.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, including virtualization and containerization.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Active AWS Software Developer or Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Active DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level I or II.
