Description

You will own the implementation and maintenance of observability solutions across our environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish standards for logs, metrics, traces, event correlation, and alerting across multiple environments.
• Build centralized dashboards and alerting policies providing visibility across applications, OS, AWS services, databases, and batch jobs.
• Create actionable, noise-free alerting thresholds, escalation policies, and runbooks.
• Manage the lifecycle, configuration, and health of monitoring and logging platforms, automating deployments via IaC and CI/CD.
• Partner with scrum, infrastructure, and security teams to reduce MTTR and improve system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing monitoring and observability, specifically with Dynatrace.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture.
• Deep understanding of metrics, logs, traces, distributed tracing, and event correlation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Graylog, Splunk, or equivalents.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with database management for MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
