Description

You will design, architect, and implement business and service tiers for client/server and web applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications using Object Oriented Design principles.
• Create and update design documents defining system behavior.
• Maintain and fix bugs within the implemented application code.
• Develop testing programs for database impacts, regression testing, and usability.
• Automate processes using Python and PySpark on Azure Databricks within DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java, C/C++, and Perl.
• Experience with HTML, XML, Visual Basic, and VBScript.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and Azure Databricks.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark 2.x, Scala, Hive, Pig, and Sqoop.
• Understanding of Spark Core, SQL, Streaming, and Amazon Kinesis.
