Description

You will design, develop, and maintain microservices for consumer-facing applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test scalable, secure microservices with a focus on performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps to build delivery pipelines using Docker and container management.
• Implement instrumentation and monitoring for production health and stability.
• Own the end-to-end feature lifecycle from specification to release and support.
• Apply TDD and conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in all phases of software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and RESTful API development.
• Expertise in microservices architecture and API security management.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with TDD and mocking frameworks like Mockito or EasyMock.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or private cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with message brokers such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or IBM MQ Series.
• Competency with observability tools including Datadog and Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed caches like Redis, Coherence, or Hazelcast.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, or Gradle.
