Description

Lead public cloud migrations and design resilient, secure platforms on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform issues and provide solutions for AWS Cloud build and performance.
• Drive strategy for utilizing AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, EKS, and Lambda.
• Measure and optimize system performance to improve capabilities and meet customer needs.
• Provide operational support, debug systems, automate routine tasks, and lead resiliency tests.
• Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied experience in software engineering and system design.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (8+), Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
• Extensive experience building web environments on AWS (EC2, ALB, NLB, Aurora, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS Fargate, SQS/SNS, S3, Route53).
• Deep understanding of container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming with Ruby, JavaScript, Node, Scala, and SQL.
• Experience managing Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• Practical knowledge of Terraform and AWS infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Foundry.
